TheRock Glen Hotel is situated on Ardbear Bay, just south of Clifden, on the west coast of Ireland. Originally built in 1815 as a hunting lodge, the Hotel has an unrivalled view of the Twelve Bens mountain range as you look over Ardbear Bay - the perfect location to get away from it all.

Nestled between Connemara¹s Twelve Pins and ArdbearBay this property has been lovingly preserved. On the R341 between Clifden and Ballyconneely take the signpost for Rock Glen. From: Galway City follow all route for the N59 to clifden on leaving Galway city you will pass by the Westwood Hotel on your left hand side continue on for 8 miles to Moycullen continue on the N59 for another eight miles which will bring you to Oughterard from here you will have another 33 miles of Connemara to drive through via Maam cross and Recess and then onto Clifden . From Galway this drive should take about 1 hour and ten minutes. When you arrive in Clifden the one way system brings you around by AIB bank and then left around the town approx 200metres you will come to a junction continue straight on R341 for Ballyconneely leaving Vaughans public house on your right travel 1.5km and take the first right hand turn directly opposite the Connemara Rugby grounds. continue for 1/2 mile and you will find Rock Glen Country House on your left hand side .
